CARL died December 9, 1994 in White County Hospital, Searcy, Arkansas, at 83 years of age. His body was cremated. Carl's residence at the time of death was in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Note: Son spread half of ashes from air over Doniphan, Missouri, wife spread other half over ancient cemetery near Johnston Castle in Scotland.

He married VIRGINIA RAY HANDFORD, on June 11, 1938.  (VIRGINIA RAY HANDFORD is #1863.) VIRGINIA was born on May 11, 1918 in Batesville, Arkansas. Virginia has remarried and lives in Wales, UK.
