child 280 ix. EVA5 J. JOHNSTON (#1017) LEWIS FLETCHER4 JOHNSTON (JAMES FRANKLIN3, GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")2, LEWIS1) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas, January 29, 1915. Eva died on January 29, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois.  

She married ALFRED VELASCO on December 28, 1937. (ALFRED VELASCO is #1837.) ALFRED was born June 11, 1901 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. ALFRED died November 14, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois, at 87 years of age. His body was interred in Chicago, Illinois. At the most recent accounting we have, Eva Velasco was living in a retirement center in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. 

Eva Johnston Velasco never had any children of her own so she enjoyed a "favorite aunt" status with her many nieces and nephews.  Alfred Velasco was an architect and engineer.  He traveled widely, working many large construction projects in Central and South America.
