131 xiii. CHARLES A. JOHNSTON ⁴ (#936) WILLIAM PERRY GREEN³ JOHNSTON (GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas  February 13, 1879. CHARLES died May 31, 1937 in Randolph County,  Arkansas, at 58 years of age. His body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery.

 He married MINNIE L.SPENCER (#937) in  Randolph County, Arkansas, on February 1, 1900..  MINNIE was born in Randolph County, Arkansas   March 17, 1883. MINNIE died April 22, 1970 in Randolph County, Arkansas, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery. Minnie was the daughter of William David Spencer and Morgainie "Ganie" Ainley.

   i. EWELL V. JOHNSTON ⁵ (#2519) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on January 17, 1909.  Ewell died on April 19, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee, at 59 years of age.  His body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, in Johnston Cemetery.  He married Thelma L. (--------) (#2520)   in place and on date unknown. Thelma was born on September 27, 1902.  Thelma died at unknown date. Her body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery.
