Arthur died on July 7, 1991 in Greenville, Washington County, Mississippi. His body was interred in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. 

He married OPAL YOUNG GRIFFIN about 1934. (OPAL YOUNG GRIFFIN is #796.) OPAL was born on September 25, 1915. She is living in a retirement village in Sevierville, Sevier County, Tennessee.

349 iii. OPAL FAYE JOHNSTON (#799) was born in October of 1942.  Opal married Ronald Wayne Osborne in September of 1963.  
        Opal Faye and Ronald Wayne Osborne have three children, Arlison Leigh Osborne, Ronald Bartlett Osborne and         Lindsey Lawson Osborne Stinnett.  Opal Faye and Ronald divorced a few years ago and Opal Faye re-married to Jerry Fillers.  
        Lindsey married Ryan Stennett and they have one child, Henry Griffin Stennett.    
        Samuel Arlis Stinnett was born on July 26, 2010 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee to Linsey Osborne Stinnett, daughter of Opal Faye Johnston Osborne Fillers
