He married Ann Vajdak in Houston, Harris County, Texas , June 4; 1949. (Ann Vajdak is #1592.) Ann was born in Caldwell, Burleson County, Texas on July 28, 1928.

Bruno "Barney" Wachel and Ann Vajdak had the following children:
